Note:
Edward Angelo Goodall, a celebrated British watercolourist, was known for his delicate renderings of landscapes and architectural scenes across Europe, British Guiana, and Crimea. In his later years, Goodall travelled widely through France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Egypt, Morocco, and Italy. This watercolour of St Gummarus Church in the Belgian town of Lier beautifully captures the Gothic interior of this historic church, famed for having the oldest standing tower in the Brabant region.
